Interested in NACL Membership?

As a non-profit society, we are extremely grateful for the support provided by our members.  We seek support throughout the year to help us continue to provide quality programs and services to Nanaimo and area citizens with developmental disabilities.

Anyone can become a member of NACL simply by submitting a membership application form along with the donation amount of their choice (payable to NACL) to our mailing address:

We will be happy to provide a charitable donation receipt.

Memberships come due on April 1st annually (the start of our new fiscal year), and anyone joining us is automatically added to our mailing list so we can keep you apprised of what's happening at NACL.  We will also invite you to various special events held throughout the year.

In addition, NACL membership entitles you to vote at Special Membership Meetings (held on an as-needed basis), as well as at our Annual General Meeting (AGM)which is held typically in the last week of June.  Memberships must be in good standing 15 days in advance of the AGM each year in order to have voting privileges there.

Most importantly, however, your membership shows support of the work we have done to better the lives of those we serve for 25 years.  We are very proud to be celebrating our silver anniversary in July 2011!
