As a non-profit society, Nanaimo Association for Community Living is extremely grateful for the support provided by our members. We seek support throughout the year to help us continue to provide quality programs and services to Nanaimo and area citizens with diversabilities. Our annual membership campaign happens every summer.

Anyone 19 years of age or over (except for NACL employees) can become a member of NACL simply by submitting this PDF-fillable (also printable to complete by hand) NACL Membership Application Form (click here for a fillable Microsoft Word version) along with a minimum $1 donation by cash, cheque (payable to NACL), eTransfer (to accounting@nanaimoacl.com - indicating the sender's name and that it's for Membership in the notes), or by visiting us in person Monday to Friday between 0830-1600 (excluding stats) to pay via Square (debit or credit):

We will be happy to provide a charitable donation receipt for donations of $25 or more, unless otherwise requested.

Alternatively, you can also make a membership donation via credit card, PayPal, or Interac via CanadaHelps - just click this link or the ONLINE option below, and under the Fund pull-down menu please choose 02 NACL Membership. Please note that while you will receive an automated charitable receipt for 100% of your donation, a small percentage stays with CanadaHelps as a processing fee, and NACL receives the remainder.

Here's links to NACL's current Constitution and Bylaws, so you can check the box agreeing to uphold them on the membership form.

Anyone joining us is automatically added to our mailing list so we can keep you apprised of what's happening at NACL. We will also invite you to various special events held throughout the year.
In addition, NACL membership entitles you to vote at Special Membership Meetings (held on an as-needed basis), as well as at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is held before the end of September each year. Memberships must be in good standing 15 days in advance of the AGM each year, in order to have voting privileges.

Most importantly, however, your membership shows support of the work we have done to support those we serve to lead thriving lives for almost 40 years in our community.
